‘Underworld’ is the name of the new single by Halby released on 23 September 2024.

The lyrics of Underworld in particular are inspired by William Shakespeare’s sonnet 18 (‘Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?’) – and modern, almost gloomy reflections. He combines themes such as the transience of summer, the influence of natural forces and human confusion or surprise at the unpredictability of nature. He criticises human ignorance and unpreparedness, especially in the face of uncontrollable change. The chaos and power of nature and human inertia are emphasised, with the end of summer taking on an ominous or unusual meaning.
